What is This Programme

The professionals who work within the human resources division play a critical role in helping the organisation achieve its objectives for the future, support growth in organisational presence and the desired long-term business outcomes.

HR apprenticeships, including HR Support, provide the assurance to support hiring and onboarding procedures and set the groundwork for developing and rewarding your workforce in accordance with your overarching human resources mission and strategy.

Over 14 months, this programme gives your staff the ability and confidence to provide legally compliant advice, handle day-to-day HR-related queries, and support your HR function with a wide variety of processes and systems.

By the end of the programme, learners will be confident and capable HR professionals who contribute meaningfully to employee experience and organisational success.

This Programme Aims To:

  • Provide the fundamental abilities and knowledge required to work in a contemporary HR department
  • Impart the abilities and dispositions required to assist employees from hiring to retirement
  • Help learners communicate the company's overarching goals to staff, establish a culture and control behaviour
  • Improve understanding of how to assist managers most effectively

What's Involved?

Coaching Support

Learners will meet with their personal coaches every month to ensure that they are putting their skills into practice in the workplace, developing them further and seeing the benefits of their hard work. It also allows learners to ask questions, trial things and review them with their coach to continually improve. Alongside this their coach will help them collect the right kind of evidence to provide at End-Point-Assessment.

Portfolio of Evidence

As part of the programme, learners will need to evidence that they are putting their learning to use in the workplace; through work-product, meeting notes, reflective and witness statements, project plans, proposals and other relevant working examples. This evidence will form the basis of the End-Point-Assessment discussions and activities.

Expert Training

Each module has its own group training session, most often delivered via a live virtual training session, by an HR expert. The training is highly interactive, engaging and contextualised, so that learners can immediately put their learning to use in the workplace, with new models, skills and tools to help them.
